Welcome to DoorLink. DoorLink is a brand operated by IBALTON S.A.S. (CUIT 30-71750823-4), based in the City of Buenos Aires, Argentina. These terms govern access to and use of our website, the DoorLink mobile app, and the hardware modules we install on existing intercom systems. By using the site or app, contacting us, or using our products, you accept these terms.

1. What DoorLink is

DoorLink sells and installs modules that integrate with existing building intercoms, adding features like video calls to your phone, remote door opening, and per-unit access management. The service includes the mobile app, a backend connecting the app to the module installed in your building, and the hardware itself.

2. User accounts

Using the app requires an account, verified through Firebase authentication. You're responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for any activity on your account. The app may be used by people 18 or older, or by minors under the supervision of an adult responsible for the account. A unit or building admin can grant or revoke your access permissions (for example, the ability to open the door) at any time.

3. Acceptable use

• Misusing the site or app — including attempting unauthorized access to other people's accounts, units, or devices — is prohibited.
• You may not interfere with a module's operation, attempt to modify its firmware without authorization, or use the service for unauthorized commercial purposes.
• We reserve the right to suspend or cancel access for any account that violates these terms.

4. Pricing and availability

Prices published on the site are in Argentine pesos and include VAT unless stated otherwise. Prices, product features, and availability may change without notice. A quote sent through the contact form is not a confirmed purchase until both parties agree on commercial terms.

5. Installation and hardware

Installing a module may require a visit from an authorized technician. The user and/or the building is responsible for ensuring correct mounting, power supply, and network connectivity for the system to work.

6. Service availability

The service depends on internet connectivity, power supply, and the network infrastructure of the building where the module is installed. We don't guarantee uninterrupted service and aren't responsible for interruptions caused by these external factors.

7. Limitation of liability

DoorLink isn't liable for direct or indirect damages arising from misuse of the products, power or internet outages, or incorrect installation. The user is responsible for the correct use of the devices, including managing who they grant access permissions to.

8. Intellectual property

The software, the DoorLink brand, and the site's content are the property of IBALTON S.A.S. and may not be reproduced or used without prior authorization.

9. Changes

We may modify these terms at any time. Changes are posted on this page and take effect once published. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept it.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Argentina. Any dispute will be submitted to the ordinary courts of the City of Buenos Aires.
